Cuban8 Squadron consist of a group of aviation buffs with both military and civilian experience under their belts. On display at the Friedrichshafen Aviation Expo, was their I-MJET S-211.
This small two-seater monoplane with retractable tricycle landing gear is powered by a single Pratt & Whitney Canada JT15D-4C turbofan engine. Both cockpits are equipped with flight instruments, controls and control panels.
It can reach a top speed of Mach 0.8 or 400 knots and is equipped to carry weapons. The aircraft is now privately owned and operated but did serve in the Singapore Air Force until 2008.
