ABOUT SLOVENIA
Slovenia lies in the heart of Europe, where the Alps meet the Mediterranean and the Pannonian Plain meets the Karst. This small green country is home to sincere, hospitable people of great diligence.

Slovenia is the only country in Europe that combines the Alps, the Mediterranean, the Pannonian Plain and the Karst. The changing landscape is constantly surprising, time and again. You can have one eye on the sea, then look in the other direction and be surrounded by high mountains. Heading up into the forests, you can see the green plains below you. From upland meadows your view stretches into river gorges. This proximity of opposites and contrasts is a hallmark of the country.

Slovenia has numerous sites of special natural interest, with features of all four main areas: the Alps, the Mediterranean, the Karst and the Pannonian Plain. It also has a wealth of diverse architecture and urban design. You can truly feel at home in Slovenia’s towns.

We’ve had the pleassure of providing our training service to students coming from more than 20 countries around the world. Here are some of their thoughts about Aviation Career Center:

MULTI ENGINE INSTRUMENT RATING
The aim of MEP/IRME(A) training is to upgrade from Single Engine in obtaining the required proficiency in operating multi engine aircraft according to instrument flight rules (IFR), develop adequate attitude flying, and to get familiar with instrument normal and abnormal procedures from company’s SOP, which is very important for further commercial & airline career.

Multi Engine Instrument Rating
MEP/IRME training program consists of:

8 hrs Multi Engine aircraft
3 hrs FNPT II
2 hrs exam
Landing fees
Exam flight
MEP/IRME entry requirements:

EASA PPL(A) or CPL(A) licence
Medical class I or II
Valid IR/SE rating
70 hours as Pilot-in-command (PIC)
Duration (theoretical and practical training): 1 month

INSTRUMENT RATING – IR/SE (A)
The aim of the IR(A) training course is to train pilots to the level of proficiency necessary to operate aeroplanes under IFR and in IMC conditions. The course is designed to ensure that the student’s flying is of a sufficiently high standard.

Instrument Rating – IR/SE (A)
The IR/SE (A) training prepares the students to obtain required proficiency in operating single engine aircraft according to instrument flight rules (IFR), develop adequate attitude flying, and to get familiar with instrument normal and abnormal procedures from company’s SOP, which is very important for further commercial & airline career.

A single-engine IR(A) course consists of:

50 hrs of Single Engine airplane
2 hours exam
Landing fees
Exam flight

SE/IR course entry requirements:

EASA PPL(A) licence
Medical class I. or II.
Completed NVFR (5 hours of night time)
50 hours cross country flight time as Pilot In Command (PIC) of which at least 10 hours shall be in aeorplanes
Completed IR or ATPL theoretical exams
Duration: 3 – 4 months

COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENCE – CPL (A)
The CPL(A) training prepares the students obtain required proficiency in operating single engine aircraft according to commercial regulations.

Commercial Pilot licence – CPL (A)
The privileges of a CPL(A) holder:

All the original privileges from PPL(A) licence
Act as a co-pilot (first officer) in commercial air transportation
Act as a PIC (pilot-in-command) or co-pilot of any airplane enganed in other than commercial air transport
Act as a pilot-in-command in commercial air transportation of any single-pilot airplane.
CPL (A) consists of:

10 hours of cross-country flying with single engine aircraft
5 hours of single engine airplane with rectractable gear and adjustable propeller pitch
In case a student has not yet acquired the IR rating prior joining the CPL exam, there is a basic IR part included in the CPL course, and is completed by:

10 hours of IFR aircraft
(This addition of total 10 hours is then reduced if IFR training is taken before CPL.)

Airport fees
Exam flight
A recommendation is that the students obtain ATPL theory before the practical CPL part, as the ATPL covers all the modules: CPL + IR. The students, aiming to a CPL licence, without ATPL or IR, can also join to the CPL theory only.

CPL course entry requirements:

Age: min 18 years when starting
EASA PPL(A) licence

Completed CPL or ATPL theoretical exams
100 PIC hours and 200 hours total flight time for the final skill test
Duration: 1 month

ATPL THEORETICAL COURSE
Next ATPL Theory starting date – September 2017, APPLY NOW!

The aim of ATPL(A) theoretical course is to obtain all necessary knowledge in one package, for CPL, IR training and ATPL Frozen – the credit which is inscripted into CPL licence and gets unlocked as soon as required airline flight time as a co-pilot is met, for the issue of the highest available pilot licence – EASA ATPL.

ATPL Theoretical course
The ATPL theoretical course is the most important theoretical part in future pilot’s training and consists of 14 subjects:

Private Pilot Licence – PPL (A)
The aim of the course is to train basic aircraft handling, transitions through different phases of flight, familiarisation with local procedures, operations and communication at the commercial airports, airspaces and traffic surrounding them, getting a good level of proficiency in flying single engine piston airplanes and to teach a candidate a really good decision making system and abnormal procedures, to become capable of a safe hour building, and to set basics of the philosophy for later commercial and airline training.

With a PPL(A) licence completed, the student can fly for private purposes anywhere in EASA airspace, according to the actual regulations and limitations.
