iTAKEOFF is more than just flight simulation
“What exactly is TAKEOFF? A flight simulator?” you may ask.
iTAKEOFF is far more than that!
It is a world of adventure around the topics of aviation & flight simulation as well as a racing simulator in the four-star BurgStadt Hotel in Kastellaun.

A Boeing 737-800 including a true-to-scale passenger cabin with 24 seats, a Cessna 172 (Redbird SD), a mobile event simulator & a high-end car racing simulator (Force Dynamics G401) are used.

Even in front of the entrance, a real Cessna 172, a replica runway including original lighting, PAPI approach lights, a check-in counter & many other exciting details will not let the visitor stop being amazed.

Your flight experience – very close to reality!

Experience the incomparable feeling when a 78-ton airliner or a Cessna weighing only 900 kg obeys your control inputs, as if you were actually sitting at the controls of a real aircraft! You will of course not be left alone! A “real” pilot accompanies you on every flight & provides you with expert guidance.

Our simulators are open to everyone – regardless of whether you have never had anything to do with aviation or are an experienced pilot.

Your flight duration – you decide!

Whether it’s a short taster flight or tours lasting several hours with correspondingly detailed preparation & follow-up: You tell us your wishes & we will fulfil them!

Our very special racing simulator, a Force Dynamics G401, comes from the USA & has four so-called degrees of freedom. Here, not only the vertical accelerations are accurately simulated – the rear of the vehicle also swings out by 90 degrees per side…. if you overdo it… ;-)

In the area in front of the simulator there are fourteen comfortable cinema seats & a large screen , on which the other guests in your group can follow what is happening on the race track in the best possible way.
