JETS.vg is a bespoke provider of services for the procurement, management & disposal of private, corporate & commercial aircraft & helicopters. Our private clients are typically discretely introduced to us by their private financial managers because we do not advertise.

Initially we provide expert advice to private clients in Aircraft selection & sourcing. Following aircraft model selection, we manage negotiation with sellers or with manufacturers for new aircraft. We manage aircraft specification to meet the clients’ specific personal & operational requirements & in conjunction with the clients’ own legal counsel, negotiation & drafting of purchase contracts & support agreements.

Services

Aircraft Acquisition
Having purchased numerous aircrafts in the last twenty years, we add value at the point of purchase, in the discovery phase & during negotiations themselves. We help clients match their personal preferences & achieve the best possible costs. What’s more, with three highly qualified pilots in the team, we can advise on the best aircraft & helicopters for particular needs.

Manufacturer Supervision
We can manage the specification process from introduction to delivery. The advantage is our independence, as we’re not affiliated to any one manufacturer, & so can cast an objective eye on quality, speed of progress & cost. Hands-on throughout, we will be onsite when needed & manage manufacturer meetings when asked.

Ownership Structure
Aircraft & helicopter ownership is rarely straightforward. We help clients negotiate aircraft leasing structures, & create & run leasing companies to support financial management, tax planning & privacy. Once deals are done, we also draft the appropriate lease contracts & loan agreements to make sure there are no grey areas around ownership

Aircraft Delivery
Making sure the aircraft is delivered at the right time, to the right specification & at the right cost is clearly key. We can help ensure this through personal specification checks & by arranging insurance & transport. Importantly, we also advise clients on the right registration & operations management structure for them, which means they’ll manage their asset more effectively whether they’re flying privately or for business.

Registration & Operational Management
Depending on how the client intends to use the Aircraft, an appropriate registration, operations management structure needs to be put in place. For private operations this can comprise of registration of the aircraft in a client’s name in his/her chosen jurisdiction, hiring appropriately trained & licensed flight crews, contracting maintenance & flight operations planning to third party providers & procurement of appropriate aircraft insurance policies.

For commercial operations, or where the client chooses to operate the Aircraft on a commercial Air Operations Certificate, which is certainly required if the client intends to offer the aircraft for charter, hire or reward (but also has certain benefits for owner operations), then the client either needs to contract an Air Operator or Airline to take over the operation of the aircraft or create his/her own Air Operator. JETS Aviation will advise the client on the most appropriate structure for the intended utilisation & will manage the implementation of the preferred structure.

Disposal & Exit Management
All good things come to an end & when the client decides to dispose of the Aircraft there are a number of options available. If the client is up-grading or indeed down-sizing, a trade-in is sometimes possible. More usually however, the client will need to sell the asset. JETS Aviation will advise the client of the expected disposal value in the market at any given point in time & the options the client has for disposal.

If so mandated by the client, JETS Aviation will market the aircraft for sale, & as an independent representative of the client, JETS Aviation may list the aircraft with a number of different brokers worldwide on a non-exclusive basis or indeed other sales avenues. The client can be assured of our transparency in that we specify our fees in advance & we stick to them, & of our confidentiality in keeping the identity of the client as private as will be specified in advance by the client.
