Grass Runway reinforced with TERRA-GRID E® 35
Runways must provide stable ground conditions all year round to ensure safe air traffic and protect aircraft. TERRA GRID E® 35 grass reinforcement improve the usability and safety of runways, taxiways and towpaths through their special properties.

With their high load-bearing capacity of up to 160 t/m² and integrated expansion joints, they ensure balanced surface load distribution. The grid structure ensures reliable water drainage and prevents soil compaction.
Aircraft can land safely in all weather conditions and the ground is sustainably protected.

Taxiway
With TERRA-GRID E® 35 you can upgrade taxiways without sealing the substrate.
You get a closed area of less than 50 % and a load-bearing floor with a load capacity of 160 t/m².

Markings for runways and taxiway
Marking of runways according to the regulations on grass runways (ICAO Annex 14) can easily be done with the help of our Big Markers.
The surfaces are fixed with TERRA-GRID E® 35. The Big Markers can display digits and numbers in the prescribed size. The surface is closed, grass growth is prevented.
The colour of the Big Markers are made according to the valid regulations for runway markings. Our Big Markers are approved by the BAZL.

Parking
For parking lots and parking areas TERRA-GRID E® 35 offers the ideal conditions. Quick and easy installation, grassed and reinforced.
The frequently used areas are not sealed, the planes remain clean outside and inside. No differences have to be made in green maintenance.
