NVolo Flight Helmets

N.Volo is a craft company that takes care about the smallest detail in every product.

Nicola’s passion for “DIY” led him to assemble his first radio system with which he faced the first flight experiences; through the curiosity & interest of the pilot’s friends has always experimented with new products, up to now, that this passion has turned into something professional.

Always looking for new technologies to satisfy the numerous & varied pilots’ requests, N.Volo tries to provide the market with innovative products, in order to make the communication easier & more immediate.

Nicola’s experience in the helmet’s production led him to create his first carbon fibre helmet that, with a radio headset, gave shape to the first carbon helmet in Italy approved for ultra-light flight according to the EN966 certification.

Services

Nvolo helmet’s design & production is entirely made in Italy & conforms to the regulation EN 966 for flight categories HPG (paragliding & hang gliding helmets) & UL (ultralight aeroplane helmets).

It has a very compact size & weight consisting of composite fibres: carbon fibre, carbon-kevlar, glass; we propose it in several external finishes by reversing the order of the layers or by painting various colours. There is then a layer of polystyrene which we have been able to contain in thickness thanks to a clever stratification of the shell, which allows the helmet to pass the difficult laboratory tests for certification & therefore to give you a safe protection & an extraordinary lightness.

In fact, the Nvolo helmet weighs only 600 grams (excluding accessories).
The shell is the same for every size, while the inner padding varies, allowing us to make different sizes. This has many advantages, including the ability to change the size by simply replacing the inside padding within seconds to fit the helmet to any passenger or to replace an old one or to have a spare one.

The padding is removable easily, it is made of breathable fabric & it is washable in the washing machine.
The strap has a quick release micrometric closure & is covered with a comfortable throat cover.
Another highlight of our helmets is the attention to details, such as all ergal screws in different colours, based on helmet colours.

The NVolo helmet is available in different finishes: transparent painted, where you can see the carbon fibres or, on request, carbon-kevlar, painted with standard colours such as black or white, glossy or matt, or with fluorescent colours, such as yellow or orange , or with colours requested by you, or with graphics made with the water transfer printing technique.

It is also possible to customise the helmet both with different colours & with graphics made by us in order to make your helmet unique.
