2016 Supermarine Spitfire Mk26 Replica Military Aircraft For Sale
This Spitfire Mk26 Serial #47 has custom made engine cowls that give the appearance of the Mk 14 rather than the Mk25 or Mk26b, and other Mk26 versions. The top cowl was sculptured in fibreglass to form a continuous line with the spinner which gives it a much sleeker look than any other Mk26 kit. Construction finished in 2016 and the Certificate of Airworthiness issued on 16/6/2023.

Toyota 1GZ-FE 300 hp V12 engine
Currently fitted with Jabiru 5100 5 litre 180 hp 8 cylinder engine, TTIS 25.9 hrs, TBO 2000, Top End Overhaul 1000 hrs
A Toyota 1GZ-FE 5 litre V12 is included in the package.
This engine has been dis-assembled and found in near pristine condition. New bearings and chains were installed and an Aircraft Engine log book is included. All work conducted by a LAME.
The maximum stated horse power is 308 hp at 5200 RPM. Power at peak torque, 4000 RPM is 276 hp.
No work has been done for the engine conversion, although the spinner will accommodate a four bladed prop. Propeller, gear reduction drive, radiators, etc will need to be sourced.
