Our team is meticulously hand picked to fit our company. Our aim is to select instructors to work with us who hold the same ideals. We pick people who are passionate about training, imparting knowledge and always willing to go the extra mile to offer the best possible service.

Long gone are the days of a simulator instructors criticising and pulling you apart. We offer traditional training techniques with a modern approach, while giving you an exceptional service. We don’t want to tear you down, we want to build you up.

What we do well is make sure any training you receive is bespoke and customisable to you. SimPrep is not a one size fits all training provider. We are passionate about making the training fit the pilot not the pilot fit the training. Our team of instructors are able to do this after many years in the industry. We find what works for you!

LPC Revalidation

*This includes a 1hr briefing followed by the check, debrief and all required paper work by one of our fully qualified TRE’s.

LPC Refresher and Revalidation Pack

A320 £1349 per pilot(4H)

B737 £1349 per pilot(4H)

*This is a 2H FBS refresher followed by a revalidation in the FFS. This pack gives piece of mind if you have not flown for a while. It will give you the opportunity to get to grips with the aircraft controls and SOP’s before carrying out an official 2H LPC Revalidation.

*If your licence has expired it’s not a problem. Our partner ATO will determine an individual package appropriate to your experience and arrange what is known as ‘refresher training’ as required by the CAA. Upon completion of the refresher training, your LPC renewal can then be carried out. Typically if you have only been expired for a short time (less than 12 months) this can all be completed the same day. We are able to conduct all the training and checking with one of SimPrep’s team of instructors.

Airbus CCQ

A330 – A320 £POA

SimPrep through our partner ATO is able to offer Airbus CCQ courses.

*Typically the schedule for CCQ Training will include technical ground school and SEP phase followed by 3 working days concluding with a technical examination.

This is then followed by 12H FFS and finally a 4H LST (LPC/OPC can be added if
required).

REFRESHER TRAINING – A320/B737

*Our fixed base sim refresher training sessions are perfect for those that want to practice a particular procedure, failure or just simply want to brush up on their skills and competencies. Our instructors are at hand to brief any topic prior to the sim to help you get the most out of the session.

They will offer guidance as well as advice or can simply operate the instructor panel and allow you to operate a full flight from start up to touch down. We are able to put together a session that suits your needs. (Full flight sim or a mix of FBS+FFS is available upon request. Contact us for

A320/B737 Technical Systems & Procedural Refresher Day

£POA *(The price is determined by the number of people on the course. Minimum of £99pp)

This day is packed full of information. It will not only top up your knowledge and refresh your skills but it will also allow you to openly discuss with members of our team, at length, any subject regarding your aircraft type. The day is customisable to your needs and the subjects you would like covered. Kicking off in the morning we cover 3-4hrs of technical refresher training in a classroom with a qualified TKI who will cover subjects such as:

• Hydraulics
• Electrics
• Fuel
• Flt Controls
• Auto Flt

This is then followed by 3-4hrs of Procedural refresher training with a qualified TRI who will take you through your paces. Lots of guidance, tips and advice as well as questions on a huge number of subjects which include but are not limited to:

• Dual Hydraulic failure
• Emergency electrical Config.
• Emergency descent
• Windshear recovery
• GPWS
• Circling approach
• Smoke/Fumes Removal

Included in the day will be a visit to the A320/B737 FPT. This allows for an in-depth look at the systems and associated failures. And if that is not enough then you’ll be pleased to hear that lunch is also included. Please click the contact us tab to enquire about available dates.

*A number of airlines include a sim assessment as part of their hiring requirements. Many of our instructors have either been through or conducted one of these assessments for various airlines all over the world. We have carefully constructed these preparation sessions for the particular airline you are being assessed by. All our sessions include a pre-sim documentation pack which you will receive before you arrive for your session. We aim to give you confidence and the tools you need to tackle anything that may be thrown your way during your assessment.
