Fear of Flying Course from Take Off Simulations in Helsinki, Finland

This course is designed to help people who have a fear of flying. During the course we will go through aircraft operations, emergency situations, why the aircraft causes certain sounds, & you will also fly the aircraft.

Fear of flying is very common, & in worst case, it can ruin your holiday plans. Take-off wants to help alleviate the fear & open up the secrets of aircrafts, so that during your next flight you will know exactly what it is going on. Our course does not concentrate on psychology but rather concrete things that happen with the aircraft. There will not be a professional psychologists present.

The course consists of two sessions:

  • A 60 minutes flight from Helsinki to Tallinn during which will go through the theory of thunder, wind, ice, turbulence, how airplanes fly, statistics & stalling.
  • A 30 minutes flight during which we will make more landings & demonstrate the capabilities of the aircraft.

There are two seats in the front & 4 in the back. Bring friends & family with you with the same price!

Takeoff operates a fixed-platform Airbus A320 simulator at the Aviation Museum in Vantaa, Finland. The simulator is suitable for professionals, aviation enthusiasts as well as first-timers.

Airplane computers & autopilots allow you to fly programmed routes using standardized departures & arrivals. Thus, it is possible to perform complete flight processes.

Everything has been taken into account to create the most realistic experience possible. The steering forces you feel are created to be authentic & sounds ensure that you feel like you’re on a real aircraft.

We also have a state-of-the-art 200-degree display that guarantees stunning scenery for pilots.

The whole world & more than 24,000 airports are simulated.

The Airbus A320 series (also the A32S series) is a product family of narrow-body commercial aircraft with two jet turbine engines that vary in length & performance.

The aircraft is manufactured by Airbus. The A320 is the first version of the family & was later developed into an extended model A321, as well as the shorter A319 & A318.
