Services

The simulator is the cockpit section of a real jet fighter consequently it has the feel & smell that you just can’t replicate

The simulator is a Delfin L29 which was flown by the Romanian Air Force until it was decommissioned in the early 1980′s. it has the markings RED 47, its serial number is 692147

The Delfin L29 was designed to be a jet fighter/ bomber trainer for the Warsaw Pact countries (NATO code name was Maya).

Around 3,500 were built.

The Delfin L29 is an ideal aircraft to model a Flight simulator on, due to its flight characteristics, & in particular to its slow stall speed which is very useful when landing, yet its nimble enough to produce a challenging aerobatic display. We have used hidden speakers & sub sound transponders to produce the sounds & vibrations expected when starting the engine or lowering the landing gear & thundering down the runway.
