Industry Outlook

International indoor skydiving contests began to be held on a regular basis in 2005, & in 2014 were officially recognized by the World Air Sports Federation (FAI). International championships & world cup competitions have been held ever since.

These disciplines are expected to be admitted to the list of Olympic events within a decade, meaning increased spectator interest & more professional athletes who will need access to regular training sessions.

Charitable Projects

An indoor skydiving facility is the perfect venue for projects designed to help others. Flights could serve as the key component in charity projects to help children & adults with special needs, & also provide the basis for educational, socialization & adaptation programs.

Educational Programs for Schoolchildren

Live lessons, when theory is followed by practice, are the best way to learn. Perfect for school lessons in physics, aerodynamics, circuit engineering, & other subjects.

Programs for Children from Children’s Homes

A new experience can help children to develop their social skills, develop respect for adults, & better manage their priorities. Children become more relaxed & outgoing.

Training for Flying School Students

Developing special skills & learning about the specifics of flight can help students better prepare themselves for a flying career.

Aerokinesis

The Aerokinesis special recovery & rehabilitation program has already been operating successfully for several years at the Fly Station in St. Petersburg.

About the program

Aerokinesis is a specially designed sports rehabilitation program for children with childhood cerebral palsy, autistic spectrum disorders, & musculoskeletal issues, as well as for adults with injuries of various kinds & in post-operative recovery.

The key goal of Aerokinesis is to help stimulate the brain to create new, high-quality neural connections between the body & the central nervous system. The program is designed to simultaneously engage all of the body’s life-sustaining systems & to have a strong positive impact on the skeletal, muscular, ligament, endocrine, & nervous systems. At the same time, the children will experience the exercise as a fun adventure or game.

Airflow— the key factor & space for sessions

Atmospheric pressure, wind speed, & air temperature can all be adjusted to create individual programs which take into account the diagnosis & specific needs of the individual undergoing rehabilitation. This allows significant improvements to be achieved within a short time, resulting in surprising & noticeable changes, increasing progress rates by up to 65%.

Musculoskeletal issues & childhood cerebral palsy

Cerebral palsy is a complex disorder which manifests itself in a number of symptoms, including loss of coordination, anxiety & terrors (including night terrors), fear of heights, & fear of losing support & being left alone. Practically all of these can be eased following a relatively short period of participation in the training process. The process helps to give the child self-confidence & impacts future progress, whilst simultaneously helping parents to better cope with their child’s condition. This can significantly improve emotional & psychological relationships within the family.

Flights shared between parents & children are an integral part of the rehabilitation program. This creates equality — an essential condition for the child’s identification of their own «self» & continued healthy psychological development, helping them to forge a confident & outgoing personality.

Through Aerokinesis, children don’t adapt to society; rather, they become full & competent members of society. Some of these children go on to become trainers themselves, following excellent career paths.
