Our Pilot in charge of operations has been a model aviator for many years and has a vast experience in building and flying both fixed wing and single rotor model aircraft.

As a keen amateur photographer and experienced pilot the development of multi-rotor aircraft was like a dream come true.
There was now a way to capture stunning images from angles and altitudes that in the past were either impossible or very expensive .

It seemed an obvious step to combine these two talents into developing the skills required to operate UAS commercially and to offer clients the benefit of low cost, high quality aerial video and photography, previously impossible.

Sky-Sight Aerial Perspective has invested heavily in state-of-the-art professional equipment and technology to capture the finest quality aerial imaging possible.
With full CAA permissions to operate UAS’s of up to 20kg, highly trained pilots with the necessary qualifications and experience, Sky-Sight is ready to bring you, the client, the best possible service and quality of production.

Introduction to Technology
​​Sky-Sight Aerial Perspective has made considerable investment in the highest quality aerial platforms and remote control cameras and gimbal systems currently available. We consider them to be among the best available and consequently can capture the smoothest shots in every environment we encounter.
Through the use of the latest transmission technology, we can stream live footage from our aerial platforms to the ground in full HD. This enables our pilot and clients to get an accurate indication of what the final result will be. We have a strict maintainance schedule foe all of our equipment and all our operations are prepared, executed and logged in accordance with the CAA’s strict requirements.

Our Training and Qua​lifications
All personnel operating an Unmanned Aircraft for Sky-Sight will have undertaken the following training:​​

Accredited RPQ-S Theory Examination
Certificate of Pilot Competency from a CAA accredited NQE
Have a Minimum Experience of 40 Flight Hours
Sky-Sight Aerial Perspective In House Training
Manufacturers Training Videos
Mandatory Study of all Relative Manufacturers Manuals
An adequate knowledge of the necessary theory
In depth knowledge of the relevent Air Navigation Order​​

​In addition, Sky-Sight insist on a minimum of 2hrs competency training in every three month period.

​Company Safety Policy
Sky-Sight Aerial Perspective has a policy of strict adherence to all current safety legislation and are constantly striving to improve standards with regular reviews of procedures and the investigation of any ‘incident’, no matter how small. All operations by SSAP are reviewed in detail, after the event, to consider improvements to our operating safety standards. Any associate of SSAP is encouraged during debrief to inform the PIC of any observations they have made of which he may not be aware.

Sky-Sight Aerial Perspective is committed to the safe and considerate use of UAS’s for the purposes of commercial operation.
We are dedicated to, and will be bound by, all current and future CAA regulations and permissions as a minimum operating standard. We consider safety to be the main consideration and priority of any proposed operation and will never operate without mitigating acceptable risk to an absolute minimum and will never undertake a mission if the risk is considered beyond acceptable.
Our Operations Manual describes the considerations and procedures by which SSAP will abide, without exception in each SUA operation. This manual is available for inspection by and prospective client.
It is accepted that this manual does not override the necessity of compliance with any new or amended regulations that are temporarily in conflict with these procedures. In these cases the document will be updated to include these additions and/or amendments.
