Cat rescue ArizonaArizona was part of Pilots to the Rescue’s April 10th epic cat rescue flight. He had been brought to a shelter in a poor, rural area in South Carolina as a stray. He had a bloody nose & was limping on his right front leg. X-rays revealed a leg bone that was completed shattered, most likely from a gunshot wound.

Unfortunately, the damage was so significant that the leg could not be saved & the veterinarian recommended amputation.

Arizona’s surgery went well & he’s recovering nicely. At times he is still a bit grumpy but who could blame him? He must have been through a lot before he was rescued.

It took a village, but Arizona is now in the loving hands of Cat Tales in Seabrook, New Hampshire, & soon will be on his way to his forever home.
