Oman Air AirlinerAre you wondering what is the best path to work for the main Omani airlines?

QUALITY FLY is launching a tailored EASA Integrated ATPL program adjusted to Omani requirements. The requirements of the Oman Civil Aviation Authority are compatible with those of the European Aviation Safety Agency, with just the addition of certain specific additional flight practices.

The requirements for Omani nationals for homologation of the EASA ATPL Licence into Oman CAA ATPL licence include*:

  • 195 Total Hours
  • 95 hours of dual instruction, of which up to 55 hours may be ground time
  • 100 hours Pilot in Command, including 50 hours VFR & 50 hours instrument flight time as student pilot in command (SPIC)

*Appendix 1 to CAR–FCL 1.160 & 1.165(a)(1) ATP(A) integrated course

The Quality Fly EASA integrated ATPL program, with 220 hours, has been specifically increased with 30 hours instrument flight time as student pilot-in-comm& to match these requirements.

Therefore, completing a course going far beyond the 195 hours requirement with 250 hours, & including an APS MCC, is even more important in today’s requirements.

The EASA Airline Transport Pilot License program Quality Fly offers consists of a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) coupled with passed ATPL official theory examinations, an Instrument Rating (IR), a Multi-Engine rating (ME), Upset Prevention & Recovery Training (UPRT) & Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation Course (APS MCC).
