✈ Just Aircraft LLC designs and builds STOL light aircraft kits. The company was founded in 2002 by aircraft designer Troy Woodland. Investor and pilot Gary Schmitt joined in 2003.
✈ The factory is in Walhalla, South Carolina, USA. The address is 170 Duck Pond Road, Walhalla, SC 29691. The location places the company near the Blue Ridge foothills, a natural setting for STOL testing.
✈ Early work with UK partners produced the Escapade. The Highlander followed as a stronger bush variant with larger wing area, wider gear, and more backcountry capability.
✈ The SuperSTOL introduced automatic leading edge slats, large Fowler flaps, and long travel trailing link suspension. These features allow approach speeds near 30 knots and very short ground rolls with pilot skill and suitable conditions.
✈ The SuperSTOL XL stretches the fuselage to accept larger engines such as the Lycoming O-320 or Titan/ULPower 520 series. The XL increases gross weight and improves takeoff performance while keeping folding wings.
✈ Just Aircraft designs fold for storage and trailering. Wings fold without disconnecting fuel lines or primary controls, which helps private owners move and store aircraft with ease.
