AvPay FAQ

To list an aircraft on AvPay simply register here and send your text and photos to [email protected]. A member of our team will upload your aircraft and send you a link to check once online.

AvPay operates a Recurring Membership / Subscription Model so aircraft will stay online until you ask us to remove them. Our system sends-out automatic reminders before your membership / subscription is set to renew, so you’re always notified before anything renews.

When planning your Aircraft Listing Campaign we recommend you budget for at least 3 months, as this should give you a sensible amount of time to judge the market’s response. If after 3 months you find you’re not getting the desired response, you may wish to update the asking price, rework the aircraft highlights, create a new video of your aircraft or rotate your cover photo. The more content you provide for the Aircraft Listing will offer the Aircraft a better chance for a sale.

To update your Aircraft for Sale, whether it be images, text copy, features or price please email [email protected] and a member of the AvPay team will do the work for you!

Regardless of whether you’re selling an airplane or a pencil, a buyer will always need to know the price in order to pre-qualify themselves as a prospective buyer. We therefore recommend you always include an Asking Price on your listings. Some buyers don’t contact sellers that don’t display a price, as they assume “If it’s not visible, it’s probably too expensive.” If the price you list on an aircraft is excessive the market will let you know, by not sending you any enquiries. Not sure which price to put? Put-in a high price and see how many enquiries you get. If you get a few then you probably have a good price. If you don’t get any, consider lowering the price. Where possible try and include a video of your aircraft in your listing. Whenever customers send videos for their listings, AvPay shares them on Social Media. You can book additional visibility for your aircraft by reserving a Header Banner here. This will place your aircraft at the top of every page throughout the AvPay marketplace on desktop.

If you find you’re not receiving as many enquiries as you’d hoped, you may wish to update your listing. Adding quality images, a detailed short description and revising the asking price can all have a positive impact on listings. AvPay can help you announce any price drops through social media. Adding a price, location, detailed description, detailed features, avionics, aircraft history and better images can all help you gain more enquiries which will aid in getting a potential sale.

AvPay publishes aircraft on the Sold Aircraft Pages to help brokers highlight their success in selling aircraft. Each Sold Aircraft also shows-up on the broker’s profile, building them a portfolio of Sold Aircraft to highlight their success. Sold Aircraft Listings provide Aircraft Buyers and Sellers with easy access to a list of Brokers that have recently sold aircraft similar to theirs, helping them gauge which broker to work with next. It also provides another way for customers to contact you where you might not have that aircraft anymore but you have something similar.

Aircraft Brokers spend a lot of time carrying-out market research and nurturing prospective buyers when they get a new Aircraft Mandate. Sometimes the aircraft owner changes their mind about selling the aircraft, so the Withdrawn Aircraft Listings provides the broker with the opportunity to continue generating new leads and new contacts, even when an aircraft has been withdrawn from the market. “I saw you were recently involved with the sale of a Challenger 604 that’s no longer for sale. I’ve a client who’s considering selling theirs – do you have any contacts that might be interested in buying it?”
