Spring Flying Season Is Here

Where Pilots Are Gathering in 2026

Something happens every spring in aviation.

Hangar doors open.
Batteries get charged.
Oil gets topped off.

Pilots start flying again.

But spring also means something else.

Fly-ins. Airshows. Aviation events.

These gatherings bring together pilots, aircraft owners, mechanics, builders, and aviation fans from around the world.

And the 2026 general aviation event season is already underway.

We Already Started the Season

We kicked off our spring travel at the U.S. Aircraft Expo in Tampa.

The U.S. Aircraft Expo is a great place to see new aircraft, advanced avionics, and high-performance airplanes.

Next up for us:

U.S. Aircraft Expo – Houston
📍 Sugar Land Regional Airport (KSGR)
📅 March 27–28, 2026

We will also host a JMB Aircraft training event at the end of March for pilots learning the VL3 high-performance light sport aircraft.

After that…

We head to one of the biggest aviation gatherings of the year.

Sun n Fun - The season Opener 1

Sun ’n Fun – The Season Opener

Every pilot knows SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo.

Many people call it “the start of the aviation year.”

📍 Lakeland Linder International Airport (KLAL)
📅 April 14–19, 2026
🔗 https://flysnf.org/

More than 200,000 aviation fans attend each year.

You will see:

Warbirds
Homebuilt aircraft
Light sport airplanes
New production aircraft
Aviation technology and avionics
You will also see thousands of pilots.

And the stories that come with them.

One pilot once said:

“You go to Sun ’n Fun to look at airplanes.
You stay because of the people.”

This year we are especially excited.

We will be flying into Sun ’n Fun in formation with other JMB VL3 aircraft.

That alone should be fun.

Then We Head to Germany

Right after Sun ’n Fun, the aviation world moves to Europe.

That means AERO Friedrichshafen.

📍 Friedrichshafen, Germany
📅 April 22–25, 2026

This event is one of the largest general aviation trade shows in the world.

You will see:

Light sport aircraft
Electric aircraft
New aviation technology
Experimental airplanes
Aircraft manufacturers from around the world

It is one of the best places to see where aviation is heading next.

And Then… Oshkosh

Of course, every pilot knows where summer ends up.

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh

The biggest aviation gathering on Earth.

Thousands of airplanes.

Hundreds of thousands of people.

Pilots arrive from every corner of the planet.

For one week, a small Wisconsin airport becomes the center of aviation.

And everyone has an Oshkosh story.

Aviation Is About the People

Yes, we all love airplanes.

But the real reason people travel to aviation fly-ins and airshows is simple.

The community.

At these events you will find:

student pilots
airline captains
mechanics
aircraft builders
aircraft owners
aviation families

All standing under a wing talking about airplanes.

That is aviation.

Aviation Is About The People

Tell Us Where You Fly

We know the big events.

But sometimes the best aviation fly-ins are the small ones.

Maybe it is:

a grass strip fly-in
a pancake breakfast
a vintage airplane gathering
a regional airshow
a backcountry fly-in

Those small aviation events are where the best stories happen.

So tell us:

Where should we go next?

What aviation events or pilot fly-ins do you attend every year?

Let us know.

We may see you there.

Tell Us Where You Fly

Spring Means One Thing

Check the oil.

Pull the airplane out of the hangar.

And go fly.

Because the 2026 aviation event season has started.

And chances are…

We will see you somewhere under a wing.

Spring Means One Thing
