Jazz Republic 4 Way FS Skills Camp at Skydive Mossel BayFS 4-way team Jazz Republic & Skydive Mossel Bay teamed up for a fun-filled FS skills journey to discover the rewarding world of FS through a structured skills development programme. Jazz Republic team members, Paul Marcellin (Simba), Claire King, Dirk Venter & Colin Rothman developed & masterminded a programme that consists of 4 skills camps that encourage long term progression. The Jazz Fest started with a seminar on the night before, setting the scene for the weekend goals & addressing some coaching topics like creeping techniques & optimum freefall body position.

Jazz Republic 4 Way FS Skills Camp at Skydive Mossel Bay 2Early Saturday morning the FS teams were divided into smaller groups, briefed on their first jump & creeping on the trolleys for the first of many dirt dives. Each 4 way group consisted of 3 participants & a Jazz Republic team member plus a dedicated camera man so that each jump could be thoroughly debriefed.

Seasoned skydiver, Steve Norris, said that even if you have been around for years, there is always something new you can learn & it is most definitely a good idea to stay fresh & add to your skill level especially if you haven’t stayed as current as you could through a pandemic.

Jazz Republic 4 Way FS Skills Camp at Skydive Mossel Bay 4Daniel Fisher was so stoked after his weekend of FS coaching saying, “The Jass Republic FS camp was a phenomenal experience.  It was a weekend of intensity & a lot of fun.  The coaches are extremely knowledgeable, patient & encouraging.  The entire group exponentially increased their FS skills over just 2 days.  It was a highlight of my skydiving career thus far & the beginning of something much bigger to come. Thank you to Skydive Mossel Bay & Jazz Republic, I cannot wait for the next camp & encourage any skydiver interested in improving their FS skills to join!” Thank you Daniel. See you at the next one on the 15th October 2021.

According to Claire, the best part of the skills camp was seeing the significant difference in the quality of the skydives between the teams’ first jump together & the last one of the weekend.

If you are ready to take your skydiving to the next level, this is the opportunity you want to focus on. An opportunity to work with dedicated world class coaches & seeing a very noticeable improvement in your skydiving. This programme has momentum & longevity.  Get on board!  Watch the calendar to see when the next one is !
