Assessment & Jet Orientation (JOC) Training: Boeing 737, 747 & Airbus A320

Our type specific simulators are priced about half of what you would expect to pay elsewhere. We do not use generic machinery as some other companies do, to give you the best possible chance of successfully completing your assessment.

We have done assessment preps for every UK airline & our simulators are used by some to do their assessments in. We have also successfully trained for many overseas airlines including Cathay, Cargolux, Norwegian to name a few.

Description

If you are straight out of training school or from a turboprop background, you will need our 4 hour training package. This includes a briefing on how to handle an assessment & also some specifics about the simulator you are going to fly. Then follows 4 hours of simulator which will cover basic handling & simulated loft exercises.

If you are an experienced jet pilot, then a 3-hour package may suffice but 4 hours would be better.

We also offer 2-hour familiarisation flights but these do not cover the full range of flight regimes.

At the end of this, you will be ready for your assessment.

We recommend doing the preparation within 7 days of your actual assessment day if possible.

Pre-Instrument Training

If you are coming from a military background & need an IR, we can offer you a training package to get you up to speed. Our B737, 747 & A320 are fully functional with regard to FMC set up & management. Learn how to do it properly. Practice everything from raw data ILS to VOR & ADF intercepts down to minima. You can take as much time as you wish but we would recommend 4 hours minimum. Ideally share 8 hours with another candidate. Prices as per the assessment packages above.

‘JOC / Airline Familiarisation Course ‘

These courses are designed to take the newly qualified pilot from training school to a stage where you can comfortably attend your first interview. This will involve ground school (4 hours) & 12 hours on the flight simulator on either the B737 or A320 or a mix of the two if you wish. Appropriate ground school is provided for both aircraft & a JOC certificate is issued at the end of the course. The course is held over 3 days. Local accommodation is available. If you can find a partner to do the course with, there is a 25% discount of the normal cost of £2400. Please note, our simulators are not licensed which enables us to offer this course at this price point on this type of simulator.
