Used DA42(-VI) Simulator (FNPT II) by Diamond Simulation
Used Diamond Simulation FNPT II devices that are truthful representations of the DA42 twin. To begin with, the cockpit is a real DA42 cockpit with real Garmin G1000. Two different models are now for sale: one simulating the DA42-TDI (135 hp engines) and another simulating the DA42-VI (168 hp engines), as we’ve ended up owning four (4) but only need two for ourselves. The newer (2017) FNPT II simulating the DA42-VI
Diamond Simulation DA42NG FNPT II, manufactured by Diamond Simulation in 2017. Qualified until the previous owner went bankrupt. Possibility to buy the one already dismantled (by Diamond Simulation personnel) or the other that is in full operating condition — we have two and are selling now one of them. These two are with the same spec, bought by the previous owner as new from the factory in 2017, consecutive serial numbers.
– They feature the new simulator architecture (Win7-based, Diamond’s own Global Canvas IG visual system), G1000 with WAAS (LNAV, LNAV/VNAV and LPV capability), TKS deice. (They simulate the DA42-VI i.e. DA42NG with MÄM 42-600 perf enhancements, non-NXi, 1900 kg.) They were kept qualified until the previous owner went bankrupt. Available for inspection at EFTP in Finland.
The older FNPT II’s simulating the DA42-TDI
Diamond Simulation DA42-TDI FNPT II, manufactured by Diamond Simulation around year 2008. We have two of these also and are selling one of them. Both are fully qualified and in light use. One we’ve had since 2018, previous owner in France had bought it as new. The other we’ve had since 2025, previous owner in Sweden had bought it as new, we installed brand new projectors.
– They feature the CAE Tropos visual system, G1000 without WAAS (approved for LNAV), no TKS deice, WinXP architecture. Available for inspection at EFHK in Finland/EKRK in Denmark.
