1961 Fouga CM-170 Magister in 100% original ex-Armée de l’Air configuration, based in France. The type trained French fighter pilots from 1958 to 1989 and was flown by the Patrouille de France for about twenty years. Registered CNRA (French collection category): VFR day, non-revenue passengers. Restored by the recognized French Fouga specialist and continuously maintained by Fouga specialists since, currently by a Dole-based team. Active airshow display aircraft (Czech Republic, 2024 – video on request).
Airframe: approx. 2,300 hours total time
Engines: 2 × Turbomeca Marboré II F3 turbojets – overhauled 2013, approx. 1,600 hours (RH) and 1,690 hours (LH). Maintained on condition under the CNRA regime with detailed hot-section inspections. Fully overhauled spare engine (0 hours) included, plus a substantial spare-parts package.
Avionics: installed 2023 – Trig TY92 8.33 kHz COM (16 W), Trig TT22 transponder with TN72 GPS source (ADS-B Out), Garmin Aera 660 on fixed mount in the front cockpit. Original French Air Force radio/nav suite retained in place (non-operative).
Two-seat tandem military cockpit in original configuration. Silver/bare-metal French Air Force scheme with high-visibility orange nose and tail, original military markings coded “331”. Type training and operational support available from the seller, a Fouga instructor.
