✈ Jonker Sailplanes is a South African manufacturer based at Potchefstroom. Uys and Attie Jonker founded the company in 2004 and the team has grown into a full composite design and production facility that supports global customers and competition pilots.
✈ The JS1 Revelation made its maiden flight on 12 December 2006. It offers 18 metre class performance with optional 21 metre tips for Open Class flying, and later variants gained European certification as the JS-MD Single with a retractable MD-TJ42 jet sustainer.
✈ The JS3 Rapture first flew on 12 December 2016 and competes in both 15 metre and 18 metre classes. Owners can select an MD-TJ42 jet sustainer or an electric sustainer package, which enhances cross-country autonomy while keeping empty mass low.
✈ The product line includes the self-launch JS2 Revenant in 18 metre and 21 metre configurations, and ongoing projects aimed at the Open Class with very high aspect ratio wings. Many Jonker gliders feature advanced water ballast systems, refined aerodynamics, and high-strength carbon structures for efficient high speed cruise and strong climb performance.
