The CFII course is designed to allow one to teach instrument rating applicants, both on the ground (aeronautical knowledge) & in flight. Ground training will be a lot of review with emphasis on how to teach the material. Instrument flight instructor candidates will fly IFR manoeuvres & procedures from the instructor’s seat of the airplane.

Description

The Certified Flight Instructor Instrument (CFII), Course Includes:
• 20 Hours of Ground Instruction
• 10 Hours of Flight Instruction
• 5 Hours in IFR-Equipped Aircraft

Requirements:
• Be able to read, speak, write & understand the English language
• Be at least 18 years old
• Hold a commercial or ATP certificate
• Hold at least a current third-class FAA medical certificate
• Receive & log ground training from an authorized instructor
• Pass the required knowledge test
• Accumulate appropriate flight experience & instruction, a total of 250 hours
• Complete a practical (flight) test, which will be given as a final exam by an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE)

Please note ground training will occur before & after every flight.
Length of training course will be in accordance with student’s availability, skills, & weather conditions.
Normal Course length takes 1-2 months.
