Tandem Skydiving is the ultimate adrenaline rush! You’ll jump from 10,000ft securely attached to an experienced instructor & freefall for over 5,000 feet at speeds of up to 200km/h!! Enjoy breath-taking views of the Strathcona Provincial Park, Campbell River & the Comox Valley during a safe & exhilarating parachute experience!
For most people who want to experience the joy of freefall & have skydiving as one of their bucket list items, a tandem skydive is an ideal option for them. They don’t need to know anything to experience this incredible feeling first h& as their instructor will ensure the entire experience goes smoothly & safely from start to finish. Please show up 30 minutes prior to your scheduled take-off time, to receive a brief overview of the jump & to get into your harness, & then reach for the sky! Tandem passengers must be under 220lbs & be 16 year of age or older. While attached to your instructor, together you will exit the plane, descend in freefall, & pilot the canopy safely & gently to the ground.

During the first jump course, you & your classmates will be taught the techniques & skills necessary to make your first skydive safe & enjoyable. The curriculum includes detailed instruction on the operation & use of the equipment as well as practical training using a suspended harness & an aircraft mock-up.
The first jump course takes approximately 4 to 5 hours & begins at 9am every Saturday or by special appointment for groups of 3 or more.
Your first jump will be made from 3,500 feet; your instructor will initiate the deployment of your main parachute as you leave the airplane. After you’re under a good parachute, you’ll manoeuvre it yourself while under radio guidance from an instructor on the ground. We train you to fly & l& your parachute during a surreal & serene canopy ride that is even better than the freefall experience for many people. Once you have landed, your instructor will provide a full debrief of your jump with you & will fill out your logbook. Hang onto your logbook, as it serves not only as a record of your accomplishment, but as important documentation of the training you have received as you progress toward becoming a full-fledged solo-rated skydiver & beyond.

First Jump Camp
We are the only dropzone in Western Canada to offer a First Jump Camp. This is an intensive week-long training program that will include your first jump course & take you through to your solo. It includes 18 jumps.

Video Options
Have all the action of your jump captured on a USB Flash Drive in-h& when you leave for all of your friends & family to see. We offer 3 different high definition video options:
- Handcam (or Selfie-cam) : Your tandem instructor will wear a camera on their wrist to capture your whole experience
- Procam (or Outside Video) : A professional videographer will jump with you to capture your experience from a 3rd person point of view.
- Handcam & Procam combined : The ultimate video package that gets all the footage of your tandem experience.
