TL Ultralight is a Czech manufacturer of light aircraft that was founded in 1989. The company started-out by producing aircraft such as the TL Ultralight TL32 Typhoon, which was a high wing, two seat, fabric-covered ultralight with an engine mounted on the leading edge of the wing, just above the pilot’s head. In 1993 the company started producing the TL Ultralight TL Ultralight Condor, which was a high wing ultralight that’s similar in appearance to the Comko Ikarus C42. The company has since become known for its innovative, sleek-looking composite aircraft such as the TL Ultralight TL 96 Star which first flew in 1997. The aircraft could sit two occupants in side-by-side configuration making it an ideal training platform. The aircraft was continually developed over the years into the TL Ultralight TL 2000 Sting Carbon, TL Ultralight  TL 2000 RG, TL Ultralight  TL Sting Sport, TL Ultralight TL 2000 Sting S3, TL Ultralight TL 2000 Sting S4 and the TL Ultralight TL 2000 Sting S4 RG. The TL Ultralight TL 3000 Sirius arrived in 2008 and could be fitted with floats to allow the aircraft to operate on water. Powered by a Rotax 912 UL engine the aircraft can cruise between 180 km/h – 220 km/h. The company’s latest model is the TL Ultralight Stream which is a low wing, two seat single engine piston ultralight. The Stream is one of the most advanced ultralights available on the market and is fitted with a glass cockpit, side sticks, a ballistic parachute recovery system and retractable undercarriage. The tandem seating configuration gives the aircraft a similar appearance to the Shark Aero Shark.
