Gyrocopters require a short take-off and landing distance. They can take off and land vertically or in very short distances, making them suitable for operations in confined areas. Gyrocopters are popular for recreational and sport flying. They offer a unique flying experience, combining the open cockpit feel of a helicopter with the efficiency and ease of flying of an airplane. Gyrocopters are often used for sightseeing, aerial photography, and personal flying enjoyment.
