Demonstrating your expertise during a sale is essential for building trust with potential buyers. If you’re not overly familiar with your aircraft, engage the services of an Aircraft Broker that is. Be prepared to answer questions about the aircraft’s specifications, performance, history, maintenance, ADs, operating costs, limitations and crew requirements. Disclose any damage history to the buyer and be open when asked a question you don’t know the answer to. It’s always better to seek advice for the correct answer, than to mislead a buyer.
