Aerodrom Portoroz

Aerodrom Portoroz is the third international airport in Slovenia with a 1200-metre asphalt runway. It is suitable for all types of aircraft under the VFR and IFR rules with up to 25 tons of maximum take-off weight. The airport features an aviation gasoline and kerosene service, hangar, flight school, restaurant with an outdoor terrace, Pilot shop, parking area, post office, etc. It is renowned for the beautiful panoramic flights and parachute jumps. Due the mild climate, the airport is an ideal place for pilot education and training throughout the year.

At the point where the Mediterranean almost meets Central Europe, one finds Portoroz – a small tourist town with a mild climate, a century-old tradition, a chain of comfortable hotels, sandy and rocky beaches, casinos, a marina, a sports centre,… all this only five kilometres from the Portoroz Airport.

Pilot Shop
You are welcome to visit our pilot shop! The products you will find in the shop include a range of pilot accessories.

Rent A Bike
Now you can rent a bike at our airport. We have available four bikes (two men and two women bikes). During the summer months, cycling is one of the most beautiful ways to move between Portorož, Piran and along the Slovenian coast. We recommend a trip at Parenzana. The Parenzana route takes you through old cities and villages, along the sea, among vineyards and olive plantations, through short tunnels and across valleys and hills

Restaurant
The elegant new Pepe Nero restaurant is filled with love and hospitality. The dedicated and professional staff of the restaurant looks forward to welcome you. The creations prepared by Chef Blaž and his team, elegantly combine authentic, local flavours and a modern touch of Mediterranean cuisine. Accompanied by a balanced selection of drinks and carefully designed dishes, they will pamper you in a way you will love to come back.

Panoramic Flights
Panoramic flights at Airport Portorož are available during whole year with a motor plane Cessna 172 in which there is room for three passengers and the pilot. In advance we have prepared most popular flight routes in flight packages. By prior arrangement you can also book a flight by your wishes. The price of the flight is calculated according to the length of the flight and not per person.

Tandem Jumps
The jumps are performed throughout the year, by a prior agreement.
