SAFETY IS PRIORITY #1

Certification
VL3 is certified and tested in cooperation with the Czech Aerospace Institute. The aircraft has been successfully tested for maximum loads up to +15 Gb/s and -8 Gb/s. The VL3 is vibration-free up to 450 km/h TAS. VNE speed is limited to 340 km/h by IAS. VNO – 280 km / h on the instrument.

Parachute
Ballistic recovery system really works. It has already saved 425 lives and continues to grow. For this reason, this system is included in aircraft as standard equipment. Security doesn’t have to be mandatory!

AOA. An angle of attack indicator will alert you if you approach a critical angle of attack before stalling. Close to the fuselage, on the leading edge, the VL3 is equipped with stall strips to improve the aircraft’s handling when entering a stall.

The hull
of the airframe is entirely made of composite material, which is characterized by strength-to-weight ratio and excellent fatigue characteristics. The entire aircraft can be split into separate parts, i.e. both halves of the wing and tail surfaces, including stabilizers, can be separated from the fuselage to facilitate transport of the aircraft.

Wing The
aerodynamic design of the wing gives the aircraft appropriate drop characteristics. The separation of the air flow along the critical angle of inclination occurs at the base of the wing. This provides good control of the machine until it falls and stops symmetrically. This ensures smooth and agile control of the aircraft.

Tail 
tail section has a proven traditional design. The internal structure of the stabilizers is similar to the design of the wings. Thus, the tail section can be completely removed from the hull, with the exception of the keel, which is an integral part of it.

Cargo door
Get easy access to the luggage compartment through the cargo doors. Travel in style.

Fixed Gear for Flight Schools
The fixed gear version of the VL3 is designed for flight schools. Your students will learn faster as the VL3 is really easy to fly with incredibly low stall speeds and short landing rolls.

Propeller
You can choose between a fixed or variable pitch propeller. The propeller is in-flight adjustable to improve your climb and cruise performance. Its ability to be adjusted will also shorten the takeoff distance.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT
To increase your safety, the VL3 can be equipped with TCAS (aircraft collision avoidance in mid-air). If another aircraft is nearby, you will receive visual and audible alerts on EFIS and headset.

An ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter) can also be installed in the event of an emergency landing so that SAR services can quickly find you.

Most VL3 aircraft are equipped with an autopilot. If you lose control by accidentally entering the cloud, you can activate the leveling function and the aircraft will automatically level out.
