Next Generation Aircraft
The Konner helicopter models showcase a cutting-edge HFA system—Hybrid Flight Assistance. This pioneering system engages an additional electric engine in the event of an engine failure, presenting a paramount safety feature that eliminates the risk associated with the traditional “Dead Man’s Curve” for the pilot.

HFA – Hybrid Flight Assistance
The HFA system developed by Konner Helicopters allows the pilot, in the event of a loss of power from the turbine, to have a second source of energy… an electric motor to facilitate autorotation & consequently the landing of the helicopter.

+90 horsepower provided by the electric motor which allows you to keep the rotor revolutions under control to avoid a stall situation.

The HFA was specifically developed to interface with the K1-S19 and K2 Italia helicopters, the management of the electric motor is 100% autonomous thanks to the sophisticated control software. The pilot can activate/deactivate the system before takeoff.

The system has been tested numerous times to ensure it is 100% reliable, & so it has been, assisting the pilot every time during emergency clearance.

FADEC: Easy To Fly
The FADEC system allows you to easily manage the turning off & on of the turbine by moving the selector to the three designated positions: STOP – IDLE – FLY.
STOP: Turning off the turbine.
IDLE: Stabilization of the turbine making it ready for flight.
FLY: Increase in rotor speed, making the helicopter ready for take-off.

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

Rotor
The K1-S19 main rotor is a 3 bladed semi-articulated system. The blades are made of composite materials and the main rotor is bearingless. the main rotor head components and the mast are all made from special steel alloys. The management system of blade pitch change, the apping and fathering are based on the use of bearingless elastic elements and it ensures height reliability and reduced maintenance cost.
