Description
The 4-seat Robinson R44 is the world’s most popular helicopter, with over 5,000 models produced since 1993. The R44 offers similar handling characteristics & performance to our R66, with high reliability, fuel economy & excellent safety features as well as hydraulically assisted controls – at an affordable price. One of our R44s is fitted with emergency pop-out floats, increasing safety on journeys over water.
The high-performance R44 Clipper II has a Lycoming IO-540 fuel injected, tuned-induction engine, which eliminates the need for carburettor heat. The standard 28-volt electrical system ensures good starting performance in hot or cold weather & provides additional electrical power for optional equipment.
Our helicopter is fitted with USB chargers for on-the-go power, a GNS430 with a secondary radio & bubble windows for enhanced viewing & cabin space
We have a variety of aircraft available for you to self-fly hire from us, perfect for PPL(H) holders going off on a local buzz as well as those hour building & furthering their flying experience.
