It’s also important to collect customers mobile numbers. I was sending automated text messages a decade ago- this still isn’t a mainstream product. In the coming years, I think it will form a large part of what every business does to market itself.

You will need to sign up for a third party company to send your email flyers. The best two in the market are Mailchimp & Constant Contact. You can tie these systems in with your website. This is good because they make sure that all the legal side is covered & don’t fall foul of any spam laws.

Now you are all set up & ready to send, a client will often want to send email campaigns that are content heavy. When you send email flyers, less is more. Most of the emails will be opened on mobile devices. A picture, some brief content & a call to action will suffice.

You should always split test email campaigns & find the best format that works for your business. You can check on your web analytics after sending & make sure you have added conversion tracking.
