Learn to skydive with UK Parachuting!

The AFF course is based on eight levels of accomplishment (normally one skydive at each level) & is designed to take place over a full week or broken down over a few weekends. Given good weather, the course can sometimes be completed in as little as three days. After graduating from the course, you perform a further ten consolidation jumps, guided by your instructors, to practise the skills you have learned. You will then be awarded ‘Category Eight’ – your first International Skydiving Licence!

The course commences with a full day of ground tuition with your instructor. This covers the theory & practice of skydiving & the use of your parachute system. You will learn safety procedures, how the equipment operates, how to exit the aircraft with your instructors, how to maintain control & communicate in free fall, how to initiate the opening of the main parachute, & how to steer to the landing area & l& safely. Before jumping, you will practise all the procedures for both your skydive & the parachute descent until your instructors are completely satisfied with your abilities.

You then take the aircraft right ‘to the top’ – around 13,000 feet – &, with one instructor at each side, you exit the aircraft & put your new skills to the test!

With the maximum amount of time in free fall & the very best instructors at your side (these guys have logged at least 5,000 skydives each), you’ll get the ultimate experience & the maximum achievement.

Once you’ve deployed your own parachute (yes, on your first jump!) you’ll fly it safely back to the landing area yourself & meet your instructors for a debrief & a 20 minute briefing for your next skydive.
