Welcome to Academy Aviation, we provide flight instruction for new & experienced pilots, at North Weald airport. We currently offer the following pilot training courses: UK CAA PPL, CAA Night & CAA IR(R) restricted, US FAA IR, FAA CPL, FAA Multi & various Flight Experiences.
With over ten years of experience as a flight instructor, I decided it was time to do it my way. Each & every student is different yet most flying schools teach the same way, changing instructors regularly makes matters worse resulting in a high drop-out rate before completing their first solo flight. At Academy Aviation we follow the syllabus but adapt to suit the individual, progress tests every 5 hours help identify areas requiring additional practice/understanding without extending the course.
Our aim is to develop confident skilful pilots, not just to pass the pilot skill test.
