This course is designed for professional drone pilots who need to conduct flying operations in the EU Specific Category. This course covers Remote Pilot training for Visual Line of Sight (VLOS) operations under EASA Standard Scenario (STS01) and Pre-Defined Risk Assessment S01 (PDRAS01). The award for completion of this course is the EASA Remote Pilot Certificate with Specific category competency. This certificate is issued by the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA) and is valid for 5 years.
The course includes,
1. Two-Day Live Webinar Ground-School. (0900 – 1630 Daily).
2. Pilot Practical Flight Assessment.
3. Guidance on EU STS/PDRA applications for the Specific Category.
Important: After you ENROLL on the course, please commence the online lessons that are completed in your own time. Following these lessons, you will find an online calendar where you can register for the live webinar portion of the course (2 days).
