The Cherokee Six 300 is a very versatile aircraft for its size. The 300HP Lycoming engine along with the 3 blade VP prop, means that these aircraft have the up & go to operate in & out of strips just pushing 400m (as this aircraft frequently does) or the capacity to carry 5 passengers over longer distances utilising a useful load of near 1300lbs. Having a climb rate over 1000fpm means it wont be long before you’re up on step at the eco cruise speed of an impressive 135knt. It’s an ideal aircraft for hopping around farm strips on sunny days or pushing on for 5 hours across the continent with people & luggage while the Garmin avionics package does most of the work. It has a well deserved reputation as an incredibly stable IFR platform.

The Cherokee Six & its successors feature a baggage compartment in the nose between the cockpit & the engine compartment which can accommodate 100lbs worth of luggage, & a large double door in the back for easy loading of passengers & another 100lbs of cargo. This particular aircraft has the rear seating in the club seating arrangement.
