Description

India India is a classic Eagle II aircraft of conventional configuration with single-bay, equal-span staggered biplane wings braced with streamlined flying and landing wires and an I-strut to form a box truss. The pilot and a single passenger sit in tandem underneath a large bubble canopy. G-IXII being of the tailwheel type category, the tailwheel undercarriage is fixed as are the main-wheels mounted on spring aluminium legs housed in streamlined fairings.

The fuselage and tail are both constructed of chromoly steel welded tube, with the forward fuselage skinned in aluminium and the rear fuselage and tail covered in fabric whereas the wing structure is Sitka spruce wood and fabric covered. The engine cowling is fibreglass encasing the impressive fuel injected 200HP Lycoming IO-360. By 2011 over 350 aircraft were flying worldwide and today 16 operate on the UK G register.

A well looked after and loved aircraft with full aircraft build manuals and lifetime documentation this II is operated on a LAA Permit to Fly and ready to be flown away with its new owner.

G-IXII also benefits from not only the usual Christen inverted system but has a 2 into 1 exhaust system and smoke system.
