Stowe school opened in 1923 & is based in Stowe House formerly the seat country of the Dukes of Buckingham & Chandos. The gardens & part of the extensive park are owned by the National Trust. The house we see today we completely rebuilt in the late 17th century & has been host to British & foreign aristocrats & royalty as well as two future US presidents, John Adams & Thomas Jefferson, the second & the third presidents.

Former students of Stowe School or Old Stoics as they are referred to include Sir Richard Branson, actors David Niven & Henry Cavill of Superman fame, Prince Rainier of Monaco, Christopher Robin Milne, son of A. A. Milne, along the many numerous politicians, diplomats, athletes, actors, musicians & Aristocrats.

The Silverstone circuit is on the site of a World War II Royal Air Force bomber station, RAF Silverstone, which opened in 1943, look closely & you can still see the three runways from this time. The British Gr& Prix was first hosted here in 1948.

Castle Ashby House is the seat of the Marquess of Northampton & building of the present house started in 1573. It has been visited by many Monarchs including Elizabeth I who visited the house in 1600, King James I in 1605 & William III in 1695. Although the house is not open to the public the garden & grounds are.

Althorp House has been in the Spencer Family for more than 500 years & was the home of Diana, Princess of Wales & now her final resting place.

Flights take place on certain weekends from April until October, once you have purchased & received your voucher you can redeem it online & book a date for your flight.
