On Wednesday 8 June Cornwall Air Ambulance was tasked at around 1.30pm following reports that a boat had capsized on Roadford Lake in Okehampton. Several people were reported to have been on the boat at the time.
Cornwall Air Ambulance was part of the multi-agency response to this incident, working alongside Devon Air Ambulance, South Western Ambulance Service, Devon & Cornwall Police, Fire Service search & rescue & the coastguard.
One casualty was treated by the charity’s critical care paramedics & airlifted to Derriford Hospital.
