Helicopter operations can be broken down into two major categories – civil & military – each with its own set of aviation regulations. However, helicopter operations also include a cross-over between civil & military, namely Parapublic operations; these are government-provided services, which can be bound by either civil or military aviation rules.

We are able to perform routine patrols safely & effectively within a timely manner. We also offer emergency patrols when disasters arise. We now offer FLIR / Colour Camera capabilities for finding hotspots within lines & close up views of what ever you may need (standard definition).

The use of a helicopter for survey & research is an extremely cost effective way of gathering information. Our pilots have extensive experience in survey & research operations – from power line surveys through to remote landings for data gathering.

New Zealand has many remote locations that are only easily accessible by helicopter. Choosing to use a helicopter as transportation in & out of remote locations can be cost effective & logistically efficient.
