Scottish Highlands Photo taken by DroneJuly 29, 2021

So, we have been busy wee beavers up here in the Highlands over the last few weeks.  We have been in talks with a company about progressing the accommodation side of things & I have been in discussions with an agency about taking on some photography work for them in the region too.  Things are looking like they are moving forwards, albeit slowly, but finally it feels like we may be about to start making a little progress.

We spent a couple of days up in Sutherland recently, back in the Clanlands!  Whilst we were there I was shooting some seals & looking at the landscape around me & thought that it is an area with much to offer, but without much in the way of offerings… which has me thinking about a workshop, or a pair of workshops, covering both photography & drone work.  I may tie it in with at least one distillery visit too!  There is much to plan before offering this though so for the moment we will be concentrating on the immediate Loch Ness, Aird & Black Isle area, at least through the remainder of the summer, & then I can get my thinking cap on through the autumn & winter!
