Based in Shenzhen, China, the company DJI Innovations was founded in 2006 by Frank Wang. In a decade, They have expanded their brand in Europe, Americas and in Asia.

DJI does offer a full range of different drones, from entertainment to semi-professional models. The company designs drones for many sectors such as agriculture, filmmaking, disaster monitoring or surveillance for example.

On March 2, 2021, DJI announced the launch of the DJI FPV, an entirely new type of hybrid drone combining the first-person view (FPV) and high-speed performance of racing drones, the cinematic camera and reliability of traditional consumer drones, and an optional innovative motion controller that allows pilots to control the drone with just single-handed movements.

Their Hubsan X4, is a series of very small, lightweight, remotely controlled quadcopters. Since the marketing of the first model, several upgrades and improvements have taken place, each with a subsequent model number and designation attached.
