Private Pilot Licence Course

Completion of the private pilot course (including the CAA practical examination) allows the pilot to act as pilot‐in‐command (pic) of an aircraft carrying passengers or property, but not for compensation or hire, subject to car part 91.

1. Must hold a valid class 2 medical
2. Must complete the ppl syllabus with at least 45 hours which include 15 hours pilot in command time.
3. Language proficiency level 4 or higher
4. Must have a restricted radio licence
5. 8 theoretical exams passed
6. Be at least 17 years old

The private pilot licence is the entry level licence for people flying with a passion or pilots who want to study further for their commercial licence.
