Manufactured in 1943. Shipped from Philadelphia to Cape Town in 1943. Shipped from Cape Town to Southern Rhodesia in 1949. Brought back to South Africa in a disassembled state (unknown date). First flight after restoration 2018.

• X-Ray and magnetic particle inspection on fuselage tubular welded clusters, wing to fuselage attachments, lower longerons tailwheel structure, horizontal/vertical stabiliser attachment structure
• Control surfaces re-covered using the poly fibre method
• New control cables
• New fuel selectors
• New undercarriage indicator cables
• New flap indicator cables
• Manual fuel pump overhauled
• New wing attachment bolts
• New engine cradle bolts
• New engine mount bolts, speers and rubbers
• Hydraulic master selector control valve overhauled
• Undercarriage actuators overhauled
• Flap actuator overhauled
• Brake master cylinder overhauled
• All hydraulic plumbing replaced (new)
• Pitot static checks done
• Aircraft rewired
• Aircraft re painted
• Complete dual inspection done by aircraft engineer
• Carburettor overhauled
