Description

LOC-I (Loss of Control Inflight) events are now the number one cause of hull losses and fatalities in light aircraft. Due to this, EASA now recommends training towards ‘Upset’ recovery.

UPRT constitutes a combination of theoretical knowledge and flying training with the aim of providing pilots with the required competencies to both prevent and to recover from situations in which an aeroplane unintentionally exceeds the parameters for normal flight.

This is a great course to increase your confidence with handling an aircraft and to improve airmanship. The flying element is a halfway between the PPL syllabus and an aerobatics course.

We will cover manoeuvres such as spinning, accelerated/slipping/skidding stalling, G-loading, and unusual attitude recoveries to name a few. If you hold an IMC/IR(R), simulated instrument flying elements will also be included.
